ORGANIZATION
The tours are an initiative of
Miranda Sauter and Rob de Beus.
Miranda Sauter has her own stud-Tinker Farm, called 'De Bonte Parels' ('The Piebald Pearls') in Zenderen/NL.
She was co-founder of the Dutch Studbook for Tinkers.
Miranda is also a horse-behavioural therapist and appreciated judge by various Studbooks.

Rob de Beus was, for more than seven years the author and publisher of the monthly Tinkerland magazine, thousands of
Tinker fans looked forward to reading every month, it was "their" magazine.
Rob also wrote several books about his favourite breed, the Tinker.

Gebo Tours Ltd offers transport by luxury coach and reserves hotels.

PROGRAM
Wednesday, October 20:
The bus stops in Zwolle, Utrecht and Breda to the pick up participants.
Then drive to Calais, where the channel crossing is by ferry. By evening we arrive in the modern Jurys Inn Hotel at London's
Heathrow Airport. Here, foreign participants join the group.

Thursday, October 21:
From the hotel we drive to the Gypsy Horse Fair at Stow-on-the-Wold (2 hrs bus ride).
This is similar to Appleby fair but still has its own atmosphere.
By evening, the coach takes us to the Hotel in Barry (about 2 hours bus ride).

Friday, October 22:
A short drive brings us to Tom Price, his family and thousands of Tinkers.
The bus takes us to the meadows.
A Tinker paradise for fans, but really for fans of all races.
At the end of the day we drive back to our hotel in Barry.

Saturday, October 23:
In the afternoon we return to Tom Price,
many see and discuss buying horses...
At about 14.00 hours we enjoy a delicious
barbecue. Just to make sure we do this in
a party tent for rain in England is always
possible...
Prefer a vegetarian snack? No problem!
After the barbecue we leave.
The coach takes us to the Sky Plaza Hotel
at London's Heathrow Airport. (4 hours bus trip with breaks).

Sunday, October 24:
After breakfast we begin the journey back to NL.
We take the same route as in the beginning, and can drop off in Breda, Utrecht and Zwolle.
